R & RX SERIES - BJM SLIM-LINE CONTRACTOR’S DEWATERING PUMPS

Top Discharge and Performance - The R & RX series are ideal for dewatering construction sites, mines, or for all-around use in industrial plants and utilities.  The top discharge allows for a smaller foot print (pump diameter) as compared to a side discharge type pump.

Cost, Quality and Performance - With the lightweight and compact design of the R and RX family of pumps you get top performance and excellent quality for a very modest investment. Superior motor protection insures longer life, less maintenance and less downtime. To protect the motor, all pumps feature double mechanical seals, which work in a separate oil chamber. In addition, an oil-seal ring has been installed under the oil chamber to prevent silt and sand getting to the lower seal in the first place. All pumps are equipped with thermal overload protection against overheating. Each pump is tested at factory, both for performance as well as for safety. Level controls and level control systems are available.

Outstanding Features - R-pumps (less than one HP) have lightweight and durable outer pump casing made of fiberglass laden plastic. They are equipped with the customer’s choice of either cast-iron or plastic impellers. The pump housing is made of cast-iron. For 1 HP and above (RX), both the pump casing and the motor casing are made of 304SS Stainless Steel. The impeller and pump housing are made of cast-iron*. Impeller shaft and hardware is made of 304 Stainless Steel in all R & RX-pumps.

The R400D  - "Mop Pump" will pump down to 1/12" and can start up in a small puddle of liquid. A unique non-return valve keeps the liquid in the pump and pump line after turning pump off. This keeps the liquid from returning out onto the surface. Pump bottom is rubber coated.

RX-SS STAINLESS STEEL PUMPS

All pumps are equipped with thermal overload protection against overheating. Each pump is tested at factory, both for performance as well as for safety.

Level control and level control systems are available.

Outstanding Features - All parts exposed to pumped liquids are made of 316 Stainless Steel. Pump housing, Impeller and Pump-top are made in cast 316 Stainless Steel. Elastomers are made of Viton.
