FlowLine Liquid Level Switches
FlowLine offers the industry's most complete line of engineered plastic
level switches, relay controllers and installation fittings. To ensure broad and reliable
application coverage, they have developed an advanced range of complimentary technologies
including tuning fork, ultrasonic, RF capacitance, optic and buoyancy devices. The modular
product architecture allows each switch technology to be packaged with a wide variety of
relay controller and fitting accessories. Each
system will require a switch(s), a controller and may included switch

Ultrasonic Switch - An ultrasonic switch
is installed through the side wall of the tank for a high or low-level switch application.
The LU10 series ultrasonic switch provides reliable detection of light to medium coating
or scaling type liquids including printing ink, lubricating oil and paint. Not recommended
for heavy coating liquids or bubbles. The switch is constructed of rugged PP or PFA
materials and features a solid state FET switch output for interface with a PLC or relay

Buoyancy Switch - Three buoyancy switches
are packaged with Smart Trak™ for an automatic fill or empty
application with a high level alarm. The LV10 series vertical buoyancy switch provides
reliable detection of non-coating or scaling type liquids including organic solvent,
acetic acid and process water. Two versions are available - one for clean liquids and one
for dirty, non-coating liquids. The switch is constructed of rugged FP and features
a reed switch output for interface with a PLC or relay control device.

Intrusive RF Capacitance Switch - An RF
capacitance switch is packaged with Switch Pak™ for a high
level switch application with integral flash alarm. The LP10 series intrusive RF
capacitance switch provides reliable detection of conductive, light coating or scaling
type liquids including wastewater, hydrogen peroxide and glycol solution. The switch is
constructed of rugged PP and features a solid state FET switch output for interface with a

Tuning Fork Switch - A tuning fork switch
is packaged with a compact relay controller and installed through the side wall of the
tank for a high or low level switch application. The LZ10 series tuning fork switch
provides reliable detection of more challenging coating or scaling type liquids including
sodium hydroxide, brine and copper sulfate solution. The switch is constructed of
PP/Ryton and features a solid state FET switch output for interface with a
PLC or relay control device.

Non-intrusive RF Capacitance Switch - An
RF capacitance switch is installed against the side wall of the tank for a high or low
level switch application. The LF50 series non-intrusive RF capacitance switch provides
reliable detection of conductive, non-coating or scaling type liquids including nitric
acid, ultra pure and process water. The switch is constructed of rugged polysulfone and
features a solid state FET switch output for interface with a PLC or relay control device.

Note regarding
application of the above switch: Switch selection and application is
dependent upon the condition of the liquid - coating, foaming, dirty, non-conductive
natures of the liquid are all considerations. Non-intrusive, ultra-sonic detectors
are available to deal with almost any liquid except gasses or vapors. Please contact us
for recommendations prior to final selection.
