Ultrasonic Switch - An ultrasonic switch is installed through the side wall of the tank for a high or low-level switch application. The LU10 series ultrasonic switch provides reliable detection of light to medium coating or scaling type liquids including printing ink, lubricating oil and paint. Not recommended for heavy coating liquids or bubbles. Buoyancy Switch - Three buoyancy switches are packaged with Smart Trak™ for an automatic fill or empty application with a high level alarm. The LV10 series vertical buoyancy switch provides reliable detection of non-coating or scaling type liquids including organic solvent, acetic acid and process water. Two versions are available - one for clean liquids and one for dirty, non-coating liquids. Note regarding
application of the above switch: Switch selection and application is
dependent upon the condition of the liquid - coating, foaming, dirty, non-conductive
natures of the liquid are all considerations. Non-intrusive, ultra-sonic detectors
are available to deal with almost any liquid except gasses or vapors. Please contact us
for recommendations prior to final selection. |
