 FlowLine offers the industry’s most complete line of engineered plastic flow switches and relay controllers. To ensure broad and reliable application coverage, we have developed an advanced range of flow switch technologies including both liquid and gas configurations. The modular product architecture allows each switch to be packaged with a variety of relay controller and fitting accessories.  These switches are designed to detect a flow or no-flow condition.  This is not a flow meter.  Flow meter information link.

These solid state flow switches function on the thermal dispersion principle with excellent performance in the low flow range. Unlike mechanical devices, Thermo-Flo switches have no moving parts which can become stuck or dislodged in the process and are not damaged by over ranging flow velocities. The switch is used to determine a flow or no-flow condition 

Thermo-Flo Liquid Switch - The FT10 series liquid flow switch is offered in multiple configurations for price and application flexibility. The switch provides reliable flow detection of non-coating or scaling liquids including process water, inks and most neutralization solutions. The switch body is constructed of rugged PP/Ryton or PVDF materials for corrosive liquids and features a solid state FET switch output for interface with a PLC or relay control device. The adjustable switch point is factory calibrated at .2 FPS with an LED indicator for now and calibration status. For reliable pump protection or valve control, the switch can also be packaged with a compact or remote relay controller.  Prices start at $ 365.00 for a polypro sensor for up to 2" piping with a controller.  Instruction Manual

Thermo-Flo Gas Switch - The GT10 series gas flow switch is offered in multiple configurations for price and application flexibility The gas flow switch provides reliable flow detection of most gases including air, nitrogen and process exhaust fumes. The switch body is constructed of rugged PF/Ryton or PVDF materials for corrosive fluids and features a solid state FET switch output for interface with a PLC or relay control device. The adjustable switch point is factory calibrated at 10 FPS with an LED indicator for flow and calibration status. Flow switches are mounted in-line using a 3/4" NPT fitting provided by customer. The short version is used for pipe sizes up to 2" - a long version is used for pipe sizes to 12" diameter.

Controller for flow switch:

  • Provides relay with 0-60 second time delay and NO or NC position.
