link. These solid state flow switches function on the thermal dispersion principle with excellent performance in the low flow range. Unlike mechanical devices, Thermo-Flo switches have no moving parts which can become stuck or dislodged in the process and are not damaged by over ranging flow velocities. The switch is used to determine a flow or no-flow condition Thermo-Flo Liquid Switch - The FT10 series liquid flow switch is offered in multiple configurations for price and application flexibility. The switch provides reliable flow detection of non-coating or scaling liquids including process water, inks and most neutralization solutions. Flow switches are mounted in-line using a 3/4" NPT fitting provided by customer. The short version is used for pipe sizes up to 2" - a long version is used for pipe sizes to 12" diameter. Controller for flow switch:
