Control Times for 90º rotation:

3/8" - 2" = 6 sec
2 1/2" - 3" = 12 sec
4" - 6" = 8 sec.

Electrical Connection: 4 pin DIN plug. Available with cable gland or 1/2" conduit.

MODULAR ACCESSORIES FOR ELECTRIC ACTUATOR VALVES

Any EA 20, EA 30, EA 41, or EA 50 actuator can be factory equipped or be retrofitted with any of these accessories.

MECHANICAL LIMIT SWITCHES - Light a light, sound an alarm, interface with a PLC or computer. The possibilities are endless. Contact and inductive limit switches provide reliable point verification of the actuator’s location.

POTENTIOMETER  -  Know the exact position of your actuator at all times with the potentiometer. Used for both 90° and 180° application with 0-1000 W or 0-2000 W potential in one unit.

POSITIONER/CONTROLLER - The positioner is used to have external control of the opening of the valve from a remote device - tech sheet  The controller is used continually adjusts the valve, based upon information from a sensor, to maintain a given condition as a set GPM rate.  See Type 110 control ball valve details for this type of application.  PDF file.

VARIO  -  With the  "Vario" speed control, you can step the motor electrically to the cycle time you need.  Set between 10 and 80 seconds

HEATER - For cold or damp environments, the heater is thermostatically controlled to maintain the actuator temperature between 32° F to 41° F (0° C to 5° C).

The FR 10 is a battery powered Fail Safe Return Unit. When a power loss of more than 0.5 seconds is detected by the main voltage sensor, the unit automatically disconnects the actuator from the main voltage and powers the valve to a pre-selected position; i.e. fail safe open or closed. When the main power supply returns, the actuator continues as normal. The FR 10 unit is capable of powering either one EA 20/EA 30 or one EA 41/50 electric actuators.  This system will use a 24VDC actuator -- power supply for FR 10 is 110 or 230 volt.  Detail in PDF file.

Control Times for 90° rotation: <1 second (dependent on air supply)

Indicator: Visual indicator standard.

Control Medium: Neutral, non-aggressive gas. Control with non-corrosive liquids possible on request.

Control Pressure: 105 PSI/7 bar maximum

Control Connection: ¼" BSP female
