Krystil Klear Strainers and Filter Bags
KK-baskets-2.JPG (58955 bytes) Each Krystil Klear housing is supplied with a 316SS perforated strainer basket.  These baskets can be used alone as a strainer or be used to support a fabric filter bag.

The perforated strainer basket is available with the following diameter openings :  9/64" (standard), 1/4", 3/16"or 1/16"

Wire mesh baskets are available in the following mesh sizes:  20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 100, 150 or 200.
Wire mesh baskets are available in the following twill size (micron) :  325 x 2300 (2 micron), 200 x 1400 (5 micron), 165 x 800 (10 micron) and 200 x 600 (20 micron). 
Strainer baskets are available as OEM replacements for the following:  American Felt, Commercial, Cuno, Filtration Specialists, Filtration Systems (FSI), G.A.F., Plenty, Ronnigen-Petter, Rosedale and Strainrite.  Special designs would be considered for custom applications and replacements.

Sizes

Liquid filter bags are available for all common bag housings.  Dimensions range from 4.12" diameter x 8" length through 7.06" diameter x 32" long.

New pleated filter bags offer improved dirt holding capacity, larger surface area and retain the low pressure drop associated with standard ring type poly felt bags.  This will result in better filtration and longer periods between filter changes.  The plastic retainer forms a positive seal between the material and the chamber allowing filtration down to 1 micron.  An o-ring is not required.  Pleated liquid filter bags can be used in the filtering of a wide array of industrial and commercial process fluids.
