ANSI B73.1 Horizontal Centrifugal Pump - Triple Volute
Triple
volute provides three separate flow paths within the casing for the
liquid. The advantage to the design is providing a balanced radial loading
of the impeller independent of condition point on the performance curve.
The solution travels a shorter path within the pump -- this offers advantages
for liquids that are viscous or sheer sensitive. Triple volute
pumps prevent vapor lock and can pump solutions that contain up to 20% entrained
vapors.
Flows to 800 GPM - Pressure to 440 feet
3 x 2 x 6 (A10) through 4 x 3 x 11 (A70)
