Big John Series - 1/3 and 1/2 horsepower submersible sump pumps for general purpose pumps of ground water run off applications. Most pumps feature cast iron housings with epoxy coating, polypropylene screened base, automatic diaphragm level switch (except 6E), and 1 1/2" discharge. Some models are also available in brass / bronze construction. Motors are equipped with thermal overload and are 115v (or 230V when noted) - 10foot power cord except as noted. Automatic diaphragm switch will start without external moving parts -- pump starts with 7-12" depth and shuts off pump with 1 - 5" depth. Catalog number in red.
