Sight Level Indicators

Note:  GX unit uses the outer Acrylic Wall only. 

GY unit uses both the Pyrex and Acrylic wall.  GY unit is supplied with Viton® or EPDM seals only.

Series "GX" flow indicators have a single clear acrylic cylinder wall and are used to indicate flow or clarity of ultra-pure liquids such as Demineralized water. They may also be used with corrosive chemicals that are compatible with acrylic. They are available with PVC ends and with either Buna-N or Viton® seals. Pipe sizes are ½" through 3" NPT.BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads are also available.

Series "GY" flow indicators utilize a double wall construction and are used to indicate flow or clarity of highly corrosive or ultra-pure liquids compatible with Pyrex glass. They cannot be used with hydrofluoric acid or sodium hydroxide, which will etch to Pyrex cylinder wall. They are available with PVC, Polypropylene ends in all sizes, and Teflon® ends in ½", ¾", and 1" NPT. Viton® seals are standard. Pipe sizes are ½" to 3" NPT.BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads are also available.

Optional fluttering streamers are also offered. 

If fluttering streamers are required conclude part numbers with "-S." If stainless steel fasteners are desired specify "WITH STAINLESS STEEL FASTENERS." NPT threads will be supplied unless BSP is specified.

Series "GYW" flow indicators utilize a double wall construction and are used on flanged piping systems handling highly corrosive or ultra-pure liquids compatible with Pyrex glass. They cannot be used with hydrofluoric acid or sodium hydroxide, as they will etch the Pyrex cylinder wall. Polypropylene ends are standard and are also the least expensive; however, PVC, CPVC, Teflon® and Kynar® ends are also available. Viton® seals are standard. These indicators will fit 1-1/2" through 8" smooth face standard companion flanges as well as DIN (European standard) flanges. Two flange O-ring seals are supplied; therefore, other gasketing materials are not required. An optional fluttering device is also offered.

Series "GL" level indicators utilize a double wall construction to indicate the level of highly corrosive or ultra-pure liquids compatible with Pyrex glass. They cannot be used with hydrofluoric acid or sodium hydroxide, as they will etch the Pyrex cylinder wall. They are available with either PVC, Polypropylene, or Teflon ends in nominal lengths of 1,2,3, and 4 feet. Viton® seals are standard. Pipe sizes are ½" and ¾" NPT. BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads are also offered.
