Metering Pumps
Flow rates from 1/10 to 150 GPM @ 100 PSI
Air operated diaphragm pumps are not often considered a metering pump however with new solenoid shifted controls, these pumps offer a major cost saving for 25+ GPH applications.
Flow rates over 25 GPM were previously specified with hydraulic metering pump that have starting costs over $ 2000.00 and complicated gear / motor drive mechanics. For the price of the service kit for some of these exotic pumps, you can get a pump and controller.
Pumps are available in thermoplastics and
metals in sizes of
1/4" to 3"
The traditional air operated diaphragm pump automatically moves to the next cycle when the stroke is completed. The AccuFlo design replaces this automatic action with the use of a three way electric solenoid valve. When power is applied, the pump will cycle (say) to the right - when power is released, the pump cycles to the left. This diaphragm pump now acts just like a metering pump without the stroke length adjustment. Variability of flow is controlled by the timing of the power to the solenoid.
Two controller are available dependent upon your application.
Speed controller - SPCI 
This controller provides a touch screen, digital indication, of the cycles per second. A remote start-stop switch is used when controlled by an external device such as the relay from your pH controller. The controller is powered with 110VAC (220V optional) and provides a safe 12VDC for control of the solenoid on the AccuFlo pump.
These can be applied for applications that requires transfer of liquid at controllable rates. You don't have to call it just a metering pump.

Flow Controller - FCSII
Like the SPCI, the flow controller can provide cycle rate control and offers additional modes that will also:
- control the cycle rate speed via 4-20mA input
- set a total cycle for a batch addition.
