known as ETFE (a copolymer of Ethylene-tetraflouroethylene) is a rugged
fluorine based thermoplastic with an outstanding balance of properties.
It's mechanically tough, chemically inert and offers a wide range of
temperature resistant ranging from cryogenic to 250ºF. Benefits

Chemical Resistance TEFZEL® resists virtually every known
chemical, from acids and alkalies, to solvents and organics. Some
examples: Sulfuric Acid to 100%, Hydroflouric Acid to 100%, Hydrochloric
Acid to 42%, Nitric Acid to 70%, Sodium Hydroxide to 50% and Sodium
Hypochlorite to 15%. Superior Mechanical Properties TEFZEL® has excellent mechanical strength and impact resistance which provides maximum abrasion protection in demanding CPI applications. |
