Subj: 8CB-15A conversion from 8C-15A

The following will be required to convert the 8C-15A to a 8CB-15A. The same would apply to a 8CB-10A from a 8C-10A

  1. Remove manifold, manifold bolts, tube rods, tube nuts and O-rings
  2. Plug what was the former inlet - 1 ½" CPVC pipe plug required
  3. Discard the top head/flange
  4. Replace the top head/flange to get the male nipple on the interior
  5. Add the adapter head and snap ring
  6. Attach filter bag – 7" diameter – not included
  7. Move head flange O ring from old head to new head

Note: Flow patter will be from top center to bottom center - was side inlet to bottom center.
              To use the gauge guard with the bag chamber (normally not supplied)
