Penguin Suction Filter Suction filter systems use a dirt trapping filter mounted on the suction of the pump. With the usage of the included eductors, very high solution agitation rates are achieved with smaller, less expensive pumps. The initial lower costs of these systems has added to their popularity. A consideration regarding the frequency of filter changes and pump removal from the tank, should be accounted for when determining the value of a suction filter. If considering a filter system where the pump can be used to develop pressure and PUSH liquid through the filter, consider an open bag or an intank enclosed filter. |

* The P-1/6A is a high sheer impeller pump. This will cause air micro-bubbles within the solution and make this unit unusable for some liquids.
