Penguin Bag Filtration Systems

The use of an open bag filtration offers an economical alternative to cartridge filters.  The high surface area of the bag allows high flow rates and dirt holding capacity.  Filtration media cost per gallon filtered will be a fraction of cartridge filters.  These systems are easy to install -- just mount the pump and the bag holder to the top lip of the tank -- all hoses and valving are included.

 Recommended for tanks 50 to 200 gallons. Enables electroless nickel* or electroless copper baths to be rapidly turned over. Material in contact with solution is CPVC including piping, fittings and vertical sealless pump. Pump can be mounted inside or outside the tank. There are no wearing parts, only the bag needs to be exchanged with quick disconnect. Dependent upon the application we offer many different micron size retention polypropylene bags. Bags are supplied as a standard with PVC coated rings or optional stainless steel rings.

For solution temperatures over 180F we can supply a PVDF pump.
