The HF design vertical pump is constructed using of a thick wall solid CPVC housing with 3" suction and discharge.  The oversized one piece motor/pump shaft allows this pump to operate without support bushings.  Open clearances between the pump and housing permit this pump to be subjected to dry running without a problem.  A thick CPVC snap ring is used to hold the housing to the column.
